Hi! I'm Laurie Ryan. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, you’ll be as likely to find me outside in a windstorm as in the heat of summer. Okay, maybe not if it’s TOO hot. And if it snows? On go the boots and outdoors I go, dragging along anyone else with the misfortune to be home at the time.

A devoted reader, I've immersed myself in the diverse works of authors like Tolkien and Woodiwiss. Which totally explains why I write contemporary romance. Hmmm. Maybe that’s not the real reason. More likely, it’s because I am an eternal romantic. I believe there is a soul-mate out there for each and every one of us.

When not writing (or reading), I keep busy with the very addictive hobby of scrap-booking, having once completed 20 scrap book pages in one weekend. I continue to live in the Pacific Northwest with my sexy, he-can-fix-anything husband and our gray tabby, Dude. Watching my family grow and thrive, I feel like I am living my dream. The happy ending is there for each of us, so keep searching.
