Mission Statement

Personal Brand

I love happy-ever-afters and I want that for everyone in both life and fiction. I believe love is always possible and that no one should settle for less. That being said, no one woman (or man) should lose themselves to a relationship, whether it is M/F, M/M, F/F, polyamory, or BDSM. I am a firm believer that there must be a give and take in any partnership.

Core Values for my writing

Feminism/Equality:    I believe strongly that women have the tools to accomplish anything they set their minds to and should feel empowered to do just that. Really, all people should. No one should ever be made to feel less than a valuable part of our world and our future.

Self-Discovery:          With each story that I write, I learn a little something more about myself. It’s pretty darn cool. For instance, when I wrote Last Resort, I came fully into the realization that the beach, specifically an ocean beach, is my happy place. That’s where I need to be to refill my well. And that led me to come to terms with the belief that it’s all right to be selfish once in a while. I get regular beach time because of that realization and it’s helped my head, my heart, and my life. I’m happier…and the people around me are happier, too. 🙂

Caring:                      Taking time to care about people, to see life from their perspective, even if only for a moment, is important.

Healing:           We all have pasts. Hurts that stick with us and shape our reactions to life. Getting past those hurts is the only way to fully embrace ourselves and to be happy and content with life.

Community:    I’m a firm believer that it takes a village to accomplish, well, just about anything. One, because more heads equal more ideas/solutions. Two, because no one should HAVE to do it all by themselves. Besides, it’s so much more fun when someone else is along for the ride, isn’t it?
